Hughston Clinic & Ambulatory Surgical Center

The Hughston Clinic is an international leader in orthopedic research and care. The relationship between this client and our design team began in 2003 with a small renovation project. Since then, we have worked on multi-phase renovations, a clinic addition, an ambulatory surgical center, and five satellite facilities in other communities throughout the southeast. The first project also served as a rebranding of their image in effort to convey their progressive approach to the advancement of orthopedic medicine.

A neutral, yet vibrant assemblage of colors and materials was used in the ambulatory surgical center to provide a medical environment that is consistent with Hughston’s mission of providing state-of-the-art patient care. Patterned glass, neutral woods, curvilinear millwork and lighting are combined to provide a timeless, sophisticated statement.
