Talbot County Courthouse

The Talbot County Courthouse renovation required strict conformance with federal Department of Natural Resources/State Historic Preservation Office Guidelines. As a result, the project required 2WR to first execute an extensive site investigation and documentation exercise. The renovation included new interior finishes throughout, the restoration of all aging windows (including stained glass), complete ADA compliance upgrades, the replacement of electrical and mechanical systems, and the installation of new data systems. Office layouts were modified and a magistrate court was added within the layout of the existing building.
