West Georgia Eye Care

A well respected practice spanning decades in the community, West Georgia Eye Care contracted 2WR to provide design services for a new location. The new facility includes state of the art technology with a new clinic, including Lasik, and eye ware retail component on the ground floor. The second floor includes doctor offices and support space for the clinic and additional space for lease. A separate building, as part of the site development, was designed as a retail center. An outdoor space, between the buildings, serves as outdoor dining for a restaurant in the retail building. The design intent was to provide a statement that acknowledges the industrial heritage of Columbus while providing an assemblage of materials that communicated the cutting edge approach to patient care within.
