DVO Project - AKPNA Plastic Production Facility Construction

Asahi Kasei Plastics North America plans to invest more than $30M to open its second U.S. production facility where it will employ up to 100 people. The Athens facility will be built on a 51-acre site in Elm Industrial Park and serve as a production and distribution hub for the company in the southern United States. The facility will serve a number of key segments in the region, including automotive, commercial seating, pool and spa, and electrical and electronics.
